Fundraising for Children’s Hospice South West

Our Vice Chairman, Peter Lee, decided. some time ago to support the very worthy charity, Children’s Hospice South West. He grew his lovely locks very long and had them all shaved, yes – not cut, but shaved off to raise funds for the charity. Today, Saturday 16th December 2017 we met him at the Atlantic Café in Portreath for the event. Peter was accompanied by a couple of workers from the charity, one of whom performed the dirty deed! First he had a couple of plaits, then the plaits were cut off and finally the head was shaved. Luckily there were plenty of knitted hats to keep his poor little head warm.

In total Peter raised a massive £1878.92 for the charity.

Congratulation and well done

The plaiting has begun!!

He looks like he might be enjoying this!
